Education

Christian education is a high priority at Hope Lutheran.  We believe that we are all called to grow in Christ and we look forward to learning more about Him together.

Sunday Bible Study

Bible Study for adults is held between the early and late service in the Sanctuary from 9:15 to 10:15. Pastor Joel leads the class.

Sunday School

We gather our children from 9:15-10:15AM each Sunday in groups by age.  They enjoy age-appropriate instructions and activities designed to teach them the Word of God, following curriculum provided by Concordia Publishing House.  There is no registration required, and no cost to attend.

Confirmation Classes

Confirmation is a two-year catechism class, based on Luther's Small Catechism for students of Junior High School age.  Classes are led by a church elder and meet weekly between services.

At the conclusion of Confirmation Classes, students are able to examine themselves, confess their sins, profess the faith, recite the catechism, and receive Holy Communion.

Service Audios

For those who are unable to be present at a service, several recent Sunday service audios are available on our Service Audios page!

Vacation Bible School

We bring out the best in fun crafts, stories, music, games, and a wide variety of other activities that increase our children's knowledge and love of our Lord and Savior, while also keeping the thrill of summer alive!

VBS ordinarily occurs 9AM-noon for one week during June. Preregistration is encouraged.

On the last day of VBS, we hold a closing ceremony, followed by a fellowship lunch/picnic for all children, their parents, and VBS staff.
